“Rapid resoiling” as it is known occurs when innapropriate chemicals are used that leave high alkalinity or sticky residue in the carpet fibres. A.G Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning uses only professional cleaning chemicals and cleaning systems such as Hot Water Extraction and the Texatherm System which neutralises, rinses and extracts the chemical from the carpet
FAQs
Q.Will my carpets get dirty again soon after cleaning?
Q.How long will my carpets take to dry?
Drying times for the Texatherm Cleaning System are around 30 minutes. Where the Hot Water Extraction system is used, most carpets will be dry in 3-4 hours, however, deep pile or heavily soiled/traffic lane areas of the carpet which required more than one clean may take up to 12 hours to dry.
Q.How long before I can use the room again?
Immediately. Protective pads will be placed under furniture and overshoes provided to the client so you can continue to use the room whilst the carpet is drying.
Q.Can my carpet shrink when cleaned?
Shrinkage can only occur if the backing of the carpet is wetted. The Hot Water Extraction recovers most of the moisture as it is laid down by the jets thus preventing any possibility of overwetting. If the carpet has unstable fittings and a risk of shrinkage is likely, or if the carpet is a type susceptible to shrinkage when wet cleaned, this will be advised prior to cleaning to ensure the most appropriate cleaning method is used.
The Texatherm Process Cleaning system applies minimum moisture to the carpet so shrinkage will not occur.
Q.What guarantees does A.G Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning give to the client?
If the client is in any way unhappy with the cleaning results, we will re-clean the carpet free of charge. If the client is still unhappy with the outcome of the second clean, a no-quibble refund will be issued to the client.
Q.Can all stains be removed?
Some stains can be permanent so no guarantee can be given, however, A.G Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning have a high success for removing stains including tea, coffee and wine, however previous DIY attempts to remove stains using inappropriate household chemicals may impede attempts to completely remove the problem.
Q.Are your prices fully inclusive?
A.G Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning does not charge VAT and there are no “add-on’s”. We don’t ask for payment until the work is complete and the client is satisfied with the results. We have built our reputation on the high quality of our work, not the quantity and always set enough time aside to complete the work to the highest standard. Our prices also include a free bottle of professional carpet and upholstery stain remover and literature to advise you on maintaining your newly cleaned carpets and fabrics.
